And of course I fully agree that your version of Tripp is mostly what I envision when I think about him, along with grandfather. I haven't watched GC in so long but I am suuuuure that they both have been ruined for the worst. Not to mention that you actually keep these characters fascinating, something i'm sure the show cannot do.
